Seattle has been hit by a 3-punch winter storm, being pounded by snow and ice since Thursday. Flights at the airport have been canceled on and off since Friday - and United just told everyone who has been waiting to reschedule their flights to just go home, that there is no way they will be able to travel between now and Christmas. Right now I'm so happy that I did not make travel plans this holiday.

That would be better than sitting in the airport for three days.
Oh yeah - they had people on last night and it was sad. But even sadder for those for whom this was a stop on their way to family.
Yikes, my sister and I are flying up next Tuesday morning....to see my Dad. I hope it's better then.

The report is for snow Monday & Tuesday (in Seattle and region) with mixed snow and rain for the rest of the week.
Last night I went out into the neighborhoods on the peninsula and looked at the outdoor Christmas lights people had set about their houses. very picturesque. This snow is good. We've been filming a snowy sequence and these past days have been giving us many options.
Should be fine if you have reservations. This weekend they just got so backed up from all the cancellations, and with all the flights full before the holiday, that they just could not move the people.
It's also supposed to get warmer over the weekend.
great, thanks Roy...I am not looking forward to this, and not cause of the weather.
Then use the weather as an excuse and cancel.
