#1Transfer songs from iPod to iTunes
Posted: 2/23/07 at 4:27pmThere is a CD that I loved but it is now skipping like crazy. I have it on my iPod and want to transfer it to my iTunes to burn a cd from it. How do I do that? Is it even possible?

Posted: 2/23/07 at 4:29pmThere HAS to be. I haven't done it, but shouldn't there be a feature on your iTunes that allows you to "export from ipod" or "update library from ipod" or something along those lines?

Posted: 2/23/07 at 4:45pmWell, I do know that you can import songs from other peoples' iTunes onto your ipod, without completely erasing your own playlist, by using the "Do not automatically update" feature on the ipod. So, i wonder if in those settings, you could find something?

Well, I can do this quite easily with my Creative Zen.
Anyway, I know it's possible. A few months ago my boyfriend's computer crashed and he was able to get all of the music off of his iPod back on the computer again, but he had to download some program because it's not something that iTunes can do for you.

Posted: 2/23/07 at 6:44pmWell, if you plug your iPod into your computer as if you're going to update it, you should get a dialogue box that says something to the effect of "You have purhcased music on your iPod that is not on your computer, would you like to transer this music back into your iTunes?" or something along those lines. Just click OK.
