So I'm getting to NYC by bus and will arive at Port Authority...I have to get to Queens (58th Avenue Elmhurst)
I have two suitcases and carry-on so I'm not sure I want to take the subway or walk very far (since that'll be close to impossible). How much do you think a Taxi would be? Very expensive? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

I'd recommend you take a taxi. I don't think they're all that expensive. Also, it's no fun walking around w/ a suitcase. I've done it (in London), and after a while we broke down and took a taxi to our destination.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't mind one or even two, but how am I gonna hurl around the two big ones and carry-on as well as backpack, etc?
Hopefully Taxis aren't that expensive... I was just wondering if anybody had a guess or better suggestion...
(I know they have all the cheap shuttles from the airports to Manhattan, maybe something along those lines?)

yeah... I did the math, and I think it'd come out to about $26. not sure how that compares to the alteratives.

opps, had the wrong 58th street. 58th in Elmhurst would be more like $18

As far as convenience, dragging your bags up and down the stairs for the subway would be a pain.
