Posted: 11/6/08 at 12:55pmHas anyone been? What's the easiest and most economical way of getting there? I think flying out of Mexico is cheaper then flying out of Central America. Any info you guys can share is appreciated!

if not, I have heard going through Mexico is the cheapest and easiest.
A friend of ours did that about three years ago. He is Cuban-American, and got to meet many ofm his extended family for the first time at age 40......it truly affected him.
Time to end the ban on trabel to Cuba

I accept the results. I wish him luck. Something tells me if the tables were turned you would not be so conciliatory.
Naturally, you do not answer the question but start bomb throwing instead. No surprise there.

Posted: 11/7/08 at 7:21pmThanks Elphaba. All the tickets I've looked at do seem to have the cheapest flights to Cuba leaving from Mexico. Do you know if you can purchase the connecting flight to Cuba from here or do you have to purchase it once you're in Mexico?
