When Molly Picon left the role of 'Clara Weiss' (a Jewish widow from New York) in the original cast of MILK AND HONEY, what non-semetic British Comediene replaced her?

GOOD LUCK, Everybody!!! Trivial Pursuit #48

YES, WOSQ!

CONGRATULATIONS to your entry to the Trivial Pursuit Winners' Circle!!!

Miss Gingold certainly brought a UNIQUE (to put it midly) interpretation to the role of 'Clara Weiss'--I believe one critic stated something like "it was like eating Lox and Chips!"

Now for your bonus question: What was the hit song to emerge from MILK AND HONEY?

"I say YOU'RE the CUTEST one. No, I say YOU'RE the CUTEST One. And we go on like that from dawn to three."

...I guess WOSQ had to step out...

So, I open the question up to the Entire Board:

What was the hit song to emerge from MILK AND HONEY?

M_E, why not give folks a chance to respond, like at least a few hours.

Also, if you're going to give so many hints to your trivitalia and so frequently after the question and the preceeding hint(s), why don't you simply give the correct answer in your second post after posting the original uestion?

Life would be so much simplier that way. re: Trivial Pursuit #48

Well, Jose', I appreciate the friendly tips, however the way I've been running Trivial Pursuit seems to have worked OK in the past (except for maybe today) and I'm not entirely convinced any changes are in order just yet.

Again, I do appreciate your friendly advice.

Well, as Kramer said in the "Seinfeld" episode, when people dialed his home number thinking it was MovieFone, "Why Don't I Just Give You The Answer?"

The Answer to Today's Bonus Question is "Shalom."

Enjoy your day, everyone!!! re: Trivial Pursuit #48

"Shalom":

Shalom, Shalom,
You'll find Shalom
The nicest greeting you know;
It means bonjour, salud, and skoal
And twice as much as hello.
It means a million lovely things,
Like peace be yours,
Welcome home.
And even when you say goodbye,
You say goodbye with Shalom.

It's a very useful word,
It can get you through the day;
All you really need to know,
You can hardly go wrong,
This is your home as long as you say:
Shalom,
The nicest greeting I know;
Shalom,
Means twice as much as hello.
It means a million lovely things,
Like peace be yours,
Welcome home.
And even when you say goodbye,
If your voice has
"I don't want to go" in it,
Say goodbye with a little "hello" in it,
And say goodbye with shalom.

It's the most amazing thing
That I think I've ever heard

Shalom, Shalom,
I find Shalom
The nicest greeting you know;
It means bonjour, salud, and skoal
And twice as much as hello.
It means a million lovely things,
Like peace be yours,
Welcome home.
And even when you say goodbye...
If your voice has
"I don't want to go" in it,
Say goodbye with a little "hello" in it,
And say goodbye with shalom.
