Yes, Ironically, the performer who played 'Eve Harrington' in the film ALL ABOUT EVE (source material of APPLAUSE0 --went on to play the lead role of 'Margo Channing' in the film version...

Yes, Larry Hagman, although not exactly known for his musical abilities, played opposite Bacall just a couple of years before going on to International Fame and Fortune in the TV Series "Dallas"...
And your prize, Jose'? Well, there's a mousy woman in a cheap raincoat who's been DYING to meet you--says she worships you--but I dunno, I wouldn't let her in if I were you...
