John Sweety, I love you, but your killing me!



First Lorna Luft and now John Barrowman! Yeah, I know they are imports but still! I piad a fortune for his Aspects of Andrew Lloyd Weber cd and I had it about 3 months before anyone else but is this is how its gonna be with every one of his cds?



Man, good looks and a kick ass voice. Life is just not fair!

The dollar is terrible shape right now, compared to the British pound. Blame the price of John Barrowman's import CD on George Bush.

It is only £8.98 (less than $20) on amazon.co.uk. I have ordered from Amazon.com before so maybe you can order from amazon.co.uk

It's not his best work, not to mention the rather questionable selection of songs. Even for Barrowman it's just too treacly. I can't listen to more than 2 tracks at a time. And the performances really lack energy and spark. The whole thing really sort of comes across like decent karaoke. Good voice, but nothing that would particularly make me want to put this CD back into the player.

You CAN order from Amazon.co.uk. I do it all the time -- in fact, I'm waiting for a cd I ordered from them now, that should arrive by the end of this week.

As Pal Joey says, the dollar is in terrible shape right now, especially against the British Pound.

LaurenB, I ordered two cds from Amazon, and the shipping charge was £4.07 -- approx. $8.00
