UK cinemas could boycott Burton's Alice in Wonderland#1

This has been rumbling for a while, but today saw the first report on it. Disney want to shorten the theatrical to DVD window from the usual 17 weeks to 12. All the major cinema chains have said if they do they wont show Alice in Wonderland at all in their cinemas.

A Night at the Museum and Rambo were pulled from cinemas early in the UK due to a similar stunt from Fox and Sony, but this is the first time that a film could find itself released in only a handful of cinemas in the UK.

Both sides are as stubborn as hell at the moment. This could mean serious bad business for Disney
