I sent my brother in Canada a letter from NYC. I just realized that the postage may not be enough. I used my Canadian address as the return address. If the postage is not enough, will it be returned to me?

That's the way it used to work. I guess it still does.

Might they not deliver it to the addressee with a postage due stamp that the person receiving it can pay? I vaguely remember that happening to me once. I paid the postage and was handed the package.

Thanks for the responses. I just wasn't sure if the USPS would be jerks about it since the RTS would be outside the US.

I remember back in the 70s having a letter I sent returned because I forgot the stamp. Who knows?
