I heard about this awhile ago and couldn't understand why they didn't at least do a cgi dog. Is he gonna talk?
Still, that dog is adorable.
re: Underdog (2007)#2
Posted: 7/16/07 at 3:41pmI saw the trailer for this, and yes, he's talking; but he sounds nothing like Wally Cox! I just couldn't accept this dog as Underdog.

This is just wrong on so many levels and the trailers look like sh!t. Yes the dog talks.
It has bad written all over it.

When I saw this trailer, I was pissed. I loved Underdog when I was a kid. A live action version of Underdog is a travesty.
TRAVESTY, I TELL YOU!
re: Underdog (2007)#9
Posted: 7/16/07 at 3:57pmThey filmed this in my town and on my campus. I'm not sayin' that as an endorsement. I'm just sayin' it.
re: Underdog (2007)#10
Posted: 7/16/07 at 6:01pmYes, I saw the trailer and went, "NOOOOO!" It doesn't even resemble the original cartoon, which was always one of my favorites. I think that the best we can hope for is a renewed interest in Underdog and maybe Cartoon Network or someone will start showing the original cartoons again.

This movie sounds awful, except for the inspired casting of Peter Dinklage as Simon Bar Sinister.
By the way, Jason Lee is also playing Dave Seville in the upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.

Posted: 7/16/07 at 7:54pmOh- you forgot the best part- I just saw a video of that kid from Disney's "Cory in the House"- Raven's little brother- doing the rap version of the theme song. When will this madness end?!

I loved Underdog when I was growing up.
This movie is wrong on so many levels . They take a property - throw out the entire concept and just use names and the title.
re: Underdog (2007)#14
Posted: 7/16/07 at 10:12pmWOW, Simon Barsinister was slightly green? I never knew. We only had B&W TVs when I was growing up.

I think this movie looks like the worst piece of crap ever!
Why did they even bother to call it Underdog?
re: Underdog (2007)#16
Posted: 7/16/07 at 11:40pmWho knows? Why did they call that horrible Matthew Broderick film, Godzilla?
re: Underdog (2007)#17

Recently, isn't that redundant?

ewww...I was kidding! It's not another dog?! Werent Polly and UD a couple?
Was I reading too much sexuality into the plot as a kindergartener?
