Not sure if this guy was out or in the closet but either way...it makes me cringe because stories like this give ammunition for the extreme right to say that gay men are predatory.
(CNN) -- A University of Wisconsin senior official resigned after making unwanted sexual advances to a male student employee of the school's athletic department, according to a report released this week.

The only reason it is national news is that University of Wisconsin is a major atheletic program that is a part of the Big Ten Conference...the same conference as Penn State.

I'm sure this happens way more frequently with the athletic community harassing women. Only when that happens it seems to be ok.
The media is responsible for making this a "novelty" story. The issue here is not gay or even molestation, it's sexual harassment.

Gay men are not predatory.
Straight men who have a pathological need to assert power over someone they perceive as weak--that's who's predatory.
