Anyone else watching this show? I love it. It sometimes makes me cringe- the way people manipulate each other, the way casting agents speak to the actors.

I can only speak from the experience of auditioning for Broadway shows, but the casting agents in this town are SO much nicer.

I've tried to watch it, but a "scripted reality show" is too much of an oxymoron for my little brain to grasp.

erricofan- why do you hate it?

"Scripted Reality Show" is an oxymoreon, but i think it's interesting. The facts about the characters' lives are actually true facts about the actors' lives.

Such as Krista Allen on the show having to deal with her past as a star of the Emmanuel soft-core porn series. She actually did do a string of Emmanuel films.

I don't know- maybe it's the fact that I'm considering the move to L.A. that I find it so interesting.

I thought it was fun when they visited King of the Hill and Pamela Segall (now Pamela Adlon, but she'll always be Paulette's little sis to me!) and Brittany Murphy were there - they both seemed very cool. But I just find the concept confusing.

I found it interesting that in an episode, Jennifer was on the set of Constantine as an extra, and if you see Constantine, and know where to look, she is actually in that film. I also find it interesting that she is in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as the tour guide who gets pregnant.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

This is exactly why I find the show so interesting...

I just had an "Unscripted" marathon. I'm not sure how I feel about the show, but I was drawn into the stories. The actor who played Jennifer's grandfather, Dante DiPaolo, was Charlie in the movie Sweet Charity!
