I saw "All Quiet On The Western Front" in History Class years ago.

Everything else, never seen.

The list of movies I haven't seen but should is long and potentially embarassing,so I won't list 'em.

Yeah, that works now, but there is such a shocking amount I haven't seen that I am embarrassed to list them on here. So I am not going to.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I had never even heard of the film Sunrise until today. Interesting thing is, an Honorable mention for the same year [1928] was The Crowd, which I have seen and LOVED. Unfortunately, I have never been able to locate a copy of the movie. I always thought the story would make a good dramatic musical.

I've seen everything from 1960 on. Before that I'm more hit and miss.

Interestingly enough, "How Green Was My Valley" is one of my all-time favorite movies. re: Unseen Best Pictures

But I'll admit, I haven't seen a lot of those other early winners.

The Sound of Music
Oliver

And immediately after Oliver was Midnight Cowboy. From one extreme to the other. 1969 (the year I was born) must have been quite an interesting year.
