why in Hell do they call it urgent care when there are 45 people in front of you? My doctor is on vacation....apparently gone are the days where he has a "stand-in".......and instead send you to urgent care.
I left...I'll go tomorrow at 8AM when they open.......crap

For the same reason you call 911 and they put you on hold.

"As you're being beaten to death, please hold. We care about your call."

Well, I am passing you some virtual Vicodin.

I am stocking up for the State of the Union Address. I think I might just need it.

damn doctor......look in my ear and gasps.......I mean give me a break don't gasp at a patient.......anyway, got an antibiotic, some kind of special eardrops, and vicodin......and am off floating until Thursday.......whatever it is he expects to pop by then, and for every 20 minutes of every waking hour I have to lay on my side and put a hot compress on the ear....arrgh

Ugh, I hate Urgent Care.

Sorry to hear you have to deal with the dumbass Urgent Care system AND this ear thing.

I've been sick for nearly a week now including a missed trip to NYC, so I feel your pain.

aww, patronus, I wondered if you had gone. That's too bad.....the reason I had to go to urgent care, is my doctor took his winter annual trip home to Ireland...
At least I was there when they opened at 8AM, and was out and gone by 8:40......

I hope you had trip insurance, but if your like me, you didn't

I have the second best thing. An EXTREMELY persuasive wife.

We managed to transfer everything to March and were only about about $75. I'll take it.

We are going St. Patrick's Day Weekend.

Luckily, we were going out of character and were just going to do the rush ticket thing when we got there.
