Posted: 8/22/08 at 2:03amIn a few days, I'm auditioning for Chicago, and I want to be Velma Kelly, but I keep switching audition songs. Can someone please give me some good ideas? I can sing soprano, but I'm stronger in my lower alto range.

Posted: 8/22/08 at 9:10amOk, it's a TOTALLY overdone song, but my friend has used it twice to audition for Velma (she played the role twice) because it has the sort of range she has and also you can jazz it up all you want. She sang "Gimme Gimme" from Thoroughly Modern Millie. Again, kinda overdone, but I think it's a valid choice.
