Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, whose alumni include Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey and Broadway playwright Michele Lowe (2010 award-winner of the American Theater Critics Assn), will hold its next Open House on Wednesday, February 23 (spring break time) from 11 AM to 2 PM at its magnificent 200-acre woodland campus in the Huntington area of Long Island. Students attend from throughout New York City and the Tri-State Area, transported by air-conditioned buses. Now in its 44th season, the renowned summer arts day camp offers more than 40 programs in music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing, nature and ecology and chess.
