For some of us... it's not a disappointment.

Posted: 5/5/04 at 4:46pmI'm using my actual picture in my icon. Kind of hard to see, though. It's backstage at "Beauty and the Beast".

Posted: 5/5/04 at 5:03pmI don't really like using my own picture for my posts... it takes away from the anonymity of the boards (even though everyone and their mother already knows who I am). At least lurkers will stop thinking I'm Roxane Carrasco..... *sigh* lmao

You should like it, cause you're very pretty. :)
I'm telling ya... this is a good group of people.

Posted: 5/5/04 at 5:45pmUsing your own picture also changes the image you may have of others. I have my own idea of what certain people look like and it's based on their online personalities. Anyway, this is my self pic icon that I'll use for a limited time until I get bored and need a change to something more interesting looking.

Posted: 5/5/04 at 5:59pmLOL...Voiceanth, you're just too easy. I make comments about my own photo, setting up the opportuinty for you and waited to see how long it would take. This was record time. I think it was three minutes. You can't possibly be that stupid. It has to be a joke.

Yes, voiceanth, people did say that I used to bear a striking resemblance to the "velvet teddybear".
I was so sick of hearing those comments that I decided to grown my hair out. Now, no one ever accuses me of looking like Ruben.

Babe,Orion, you've been hawking that photo on and off for 6 months..we have ALL seen it!
Lighten up!
and might I add that while photos may or may not match a board member's personality...
A Board members own "board persona" might be quite different from who they are in real life...
or not!

Quite an accomplishment on my part since the photo is only about two months old.
And thank you for that lesson on teh difference between board persona and realitty but that is not waht i was saying.
Ok, enough of playing around with you, it's so easy that it's boring.
