re: Using Your Actual Picture as an Icon

I'll chnage my icon to mypic when I get home from work. I'm hoping to get some creepy comments....I'm sure I will but I'm also sure they won't be the type I want.

re: Using Your Actual Picture as an Icon

I'm using my actual picture in my icon. Kind of hard to see, though. It's backstage at "Beauty and the Beast".

re: Using Your Actual Picture as an Icon

I don't really like using my own picture for my posts... it takes away from the anonymity of the boards (even though everyone and their mother already knows who I am). At least lurkers will stop thinking I'm Roxane Carrasco..... *sigh* lmao

re: Using Your Actual Picture as an Icon

Using your own picture also changes the image you may have of others. I have my own idea of what certain people look like and it's based on their online personalities. Anyway, this is my self pic icon that I'll use for a limited time until I get bored and need a change to something more interesting looking.

I have been using my own picture since day one.

I have nothing to hide.

LOL...Voiceanth, you're just too easy. I make comments about my own photo, setting up the opportuinty for you and waited to see how long it would take. This was record time. I think it was three minutes. You can't possibly be that stupid. It has to be a joke.

re: using your actual picture as an icon

Yes, voiceanth, people did say that I used to bear a striking resemblance to the "velvet teddybear".

I was so sick of hearing those comments that I decided to grown my hair out. Now, no one ever accuses me of looking like Ruben.

Babe,Orion, you've been hawking that photo on and off for 6 months..we have ALL seen it!

Lighten up!

and might I add that while photos may or may not match a board member's personality...

A Board members own "board persona" might be quite different from who they are in real life...

or not!

re: using your actual picture as an icon

Quite an accomplishment on my part since the photo is only about two months old.

And thank you for that lesson on teh difference between board persona and realitty but that is not waht i was saying.

Ok, enough of playing around with you, it's so easy that it's boring.
