VERY WEIRD...

I took a photo of myself in the Apple program "Photo Booth" for the sole purpose of using it as my BWW avatar. When I go to my settings and upload the photo, the thumbnail that BWW creates is NOT MY PHOTO. It comes up with A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHOTO of a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON. I tried uploading a different photo of me and THE SAME THING HAPPENS but with A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHOTO of a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening? This is friggin' weird...

Maybe you look different than you thought you did.

Is the person cuter than you? Male or female?

I think someone mentioned here in a similar "weirdness" that if you change the file name to something else it works. Something unique, as opposed to generic.

The first time it was a man about 20 years older than me, with a sleazy as grin. The second time it was a gothic/emo girl about my age...

I think if your file name matches 2 or 3 others, the database of av images gets confused.

Seems like those who try a more unique name don't run into the problem.
