Apparently, some not-very-reliable source online has revealed plans for dirty bombs to be planted in trucks and detonaated outside 7 NFL stadiums this Sunday, including New York, Houston, Miami, Oakland, and Atlanta.
They're saying not to be worried but this is just too coincidental--the one time that I'm going to Atlanta in my life specifically to go to the football game. This blows.

Mr. Roxy, that's very true. Funniest piece of press conference footage I've seen in awhile.
Cheeze, this is a slightly different topic. That was about the dirty bomb in general, this is specifically about this incident. There were a few lines in that thread about this, but it didn't focus on this.

Apparently it was 20 year old in an online contest suggesting this. Homeland Security failed to realize there hasn't been a pro-football game in NYC since the 80s. (Meadlowlands people) They also failed to realize the games don't all start at the same time thereby ruling out the possibility of multiple attacks. Fishy much? If this was really “investigated,” I hope someone is getting fired.
