I don't always find Scarlett's performances up to snuff, but I thought she was fine in this one.
I actually enjoyed this movie, but I'm not sure if it was including her or despite her. She didn't bother me in this one.

Loved this movie and I disagree about Rebecca Hall. I really enjoyed her performance. The film obviously belongs to Penelope Cruz whose performance is definitely Oscar worthy and if she isn't at least nominated it will be a major shocker.
I just finished watching "VCB." As good as Viola Davis was in "Doubt," and as much as I love Amy Adams, and as much heart as Taraji Henson brought to "Benjamin Button," and, well, I haven't seen "The Wrestler" yet, I will be rooting for Penelope Cruz come Oscar night.
As for Scarlett Johansson, was anyone else bothered that she seemed to be looking through the digital camera's eyepiece from a distance rather than at a screen on the back?!? In no way did I believe she was actually taking pictures or even knew how.
"I am looking at Maribel Verdú's profile on IMDB and I think I've seen her in something else besides Pan's Labyrinth and Y Tu Mama Tambien, but I don't remember what."
If I don't know if you're referring to this, but she was hearbreaking in AMANTES (LOVERS) also starring her BELLE EPOQUE co-star Jorge Sanz, and Victoria Abril.
