The results are in: "The poll combines ballots from 795 critics, who divided 100 points among 10 2005 albums. (Every individual ballot is available online.) Maximum per album: 30. Minimum: 5. Points determined placement, with total mentions (included in parentheses) used for tiebreaking."
The awesome Kanye West ended up right where he belongs, at #1. My girls Sleatter-Kinney's must-have album "The Woods" placed at #4! I'd put it at #2 and ditch the M.I.A. album. And of course, Madonna coming in at #61 is about 20 points higher than it placed on my personal Top 100 of 2005.
Yay Antony & The Johnsons at #7.
