Von Trapps on Good Morning America

Well, the film version of the Von Trapps. According to my mum, who is on some internet Julie site, she and Christopher Plummer and the actors that portrayed the 7 children will be on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, at 8:00 AM. Also, something about them being at Central Park at 67th tonight at 5:30. Not sure what that means, though.

Probably to promote the new DVD set. How funny! I had the guy who played Rolf in the film for a dance teacher for a while. I wonder if he is included in this.

From what I understand, he is not part of this. Nor is Eleanor Parker, which would have been great. There is a new documentary, a reunion with Julie and Chris, another reunion with "the children", a bit on the wretched sing-a-long, and a trip back to the Salzburg locations with Charmian Carr. Julie and Chris recorded a running commentary track, as well. I hear the film, itself, does not looks as good as it should.

I clicked on the Dan Truhitte site, and listened to his sound clip of La Streisand's "Evergreen". I haven't stopped laughing yet. I thought he was mooing at the beginning.

The actual Von Trapp kids and their off-spring have a new Christmas CD on the market.

Yep...they're coming to my town on tour for the Christmas season.
