...watch Susan Sarandon haul her huffy butt out of the country.

(Why do all these liberal types always bash the US in the foreign media? She could have said this in the NYT or The View or any program on MSNBC).

"If McCain gets in, it's going to be very, very dangerous," she says.

"It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I'll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don't know. We're at an abyss."

I think anything outside of this would be bashing the US. At least she is being realistic and doing the world a service. This man is a threat to world peace.

I've never understood why what Susan Sarandon, or any other celebrity for that matter, says matters to people. It's no different than if you or I said it. Whether you agree or disagree with her, does her opinion really mean all that much to you?

True, it's always better to speak in vague generalities rather than in specifics...that way you can never be accused of anything.

At least Susan Sarandon has the guts to say very specifically who she's talking about.
