...watch Susan Sarandon haul her huffy butt out of the country.
(Why do all these liberal types always bash the US in the foreign media? She could have said this in the NYT or The View or any program on MSNBC).
"If McCain gets in, it's going to be very, very dangerous," she says.
"It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I'll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don't know. We're at an abyss."

How exactly is she bashing the U.S?

I love Susan Sarandon, huffy butt and all.
"If McCain gets in, it's going to be very, very dangerous,"
I think anything outside of this would be bashing the US. At least she is being realistic and doing the world a service. This man is a threat to world peace.

Love her or hate her, I think an American speaking out on foreign media is a good thing.
The man has not even been elected & he is already a threat to world peace. Way to go Johnnie. I never knew you had it in you.
Character assassination if you please.

"Character assassination if you please."
More like character suicide since McCain has pretty much laid it all out there for us.
Who gives a crap what that saggy-titted woman has to say? Although, personally, I feel the same way about all three candidates. It's very depressing.
Although I disagree with her politically, she is still pretty darn good for her age.
"Saggy-titted woman"?
Is this really necessary?
"Who gives a crap what that saggy-titted woman has to say?"
I always forget that looks are a prerequisite in whether or not someone's opinion matters.
I think she is still gorgeous.
Borstalboy I agree. How exactly is this considered bashing America. She said what a lot of people in America feel about McCain. The only difference is she said it in Europe.
I've never understood why what Susan Sarandon, or any other celebrity for that matter, says matters to people. It's no different than if you or I said it. Whether you agree or disagree with her, does her opinion really mean all that much to you?

Yet another reason your wife must consider herself the luckiest woman alive.
By all means, let's resurrect the Dixie Chicks era, and run to our video stores and stomp on every copy of THE HUNGER. I mean, in that, she was a chain-smoking lezzie vampire, clearly an assault on normal American Family Values. Grind that DVD into the pavement, patriots! Now we can do it with a reason! Jeesh, then she played a nun to win an Oscar in a leftie flick with a leftie agenda -- oooooh, people shouldn't, like, be given the electric chair. Gimme a break, elitists.
Goth where were you last week when Bush was bashing the Dems in the Knesset? He's the damn president and you expect movie stars to oblige some unwritten rule?

Did Bush name any names? I don't recall that he named any Democrat by name or party affiliation. Please provide transcript if he did.
names arent neccisary.... we all know who he was talking about.

True, it's always better to speak in vague generalities rather than in specifics...that way you can never be accused of anything.
At least Susan Sarandon has the guts to say very specifically who she's talking about.
Being a passive-aggressive man is so much more honorable than being an outspoken "bitch".

No he didn't we know who he was talking about. Then only minutes later McCain started repeating the same talking point only with Obama's name.
auggie, do save me a copy of the hunger as it was made before tony scott got too full of himself.
Who gives a crap what that saggy-titted woman has to say?
Wow. Is that supposed to be funny? It sounds more misogynistic to me.
