(Why do all these liberal types always bash the US in the foreign media? She could have said this in the NYT or The View or any program on MSNBC).

"If McCain gets in, it's going to be very, very dangerous," she says.

"It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I'll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don't know. We're at an abyss."

Borstalboy I agree. How exactly is this considered bashing America. She said what a lot of people in America feel about McCain. The only difference is she said it in Europe.

I've never understood why what Susan Sarandon, or any other celebrity for that matter, says matters to people. It's no different than if you or I said it. Whether you agree or disagree with her, does her opinion really mean all that much to you?

True, it's always better to speak in vague generalities rather than in specifics...that way you can never be accused of anything.

At least Susan Sarandon has the guts to say very specifically who she's talking about.
