WONDERFUL DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL MUSICALS

Saw a terrific and moving documentary the other night called MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS that follows three high school theater programs and their creative journeys to the "Freddy Awards" - the Tony Awards for high school musical theater.

It's such an important film in a time when arts education continues to shrink in our schools.

Thanks for that SNICOLE! I saw the excerpt of this on YouTube, which comes out as an glorified trailer. Nonethless, it looks great and look forward to seeing this. What is it about the Pennsylvania-New Jersey region (I take it reasonably close to the Philadelphia area with those high schools) that stands out nationally and gives high school theater its own awards show with the high production values we'd see with the ones we all know and love?
