Meanwhile, we have this handful of dog-with-a-bone Republicans (and FOX) trying to make the Able Danger business the "real" coverup story -- "bigger than Watergate" as it has been dubbed on Lou Dobbs. It can't gain traction, no doubt because even though everyone is aware that the Clinton administration dropped the ball (to a point) pre 9/11, Bush had been in office 9 months on that fateful day, and Michael Moore and everyone else has documented the the Rice-Bush Big Crawford yawn in the face of August 2001 warnings re Ben Laden and the US turf.

Osama isn't caught, there were no WMDS, and Iraq wasn't involved with 9/11. What else is there? I have a feeling it'll more of the same "fight them there so we don't have to fight them here" nonsense. Anyone near a television?

This little piggy thinks the Repubs are getting more nervous every day. They should be; they can't stay rich if America falls behind the rest of the world in science and technology, whic is what the Religious Right is pushing. You can't keep the money if China builds a better mousetrap.

Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., quickly returned Bush's criticism.
"Its deeply regrettable that the president is using Veterans Day as a campaign-like attempt to rebuild his own credibility by tearing down those who seek the truth about the clear manipulation of intelligence in the run-up to the Iraq war," Kennedy said in a statement.
"Instead of providing open and honest answers about how we will achieve success in Iraq and allow our troops to begin to come home," Kennedy said, "the president reverted to the same manipulation of facts to justify a war we never should have fought."
