If you are a fan of Disney animated films as I am, you will want to see this movie. I saw it this afternoon and it was great. It covers the decade of 1984-1994 and how Disney was in a finacial mess until they struck gold with the likes of Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. I also found it interesting how they explained the transition from producing traditional animated films to computer animated films and how much of a risk it was investing in their first computer system. The Rescuers Down Under was the first fully computer animated film from Disney paving the way for Beauty and the Beast. I highly recommend this film and look forward to buying it on dvd.

My school had a screening last year that was followed by a Q&A with Don Hahn and Peter Schneider. It was, for lack of a better word, magical. A superb documentary that I highly recommend. And not just to Disney fans-anyone will enjoy this.
How did you see this? It's not on DVD until November...
Is it still playing at a theater in your area??
It just opened at a theatre in my area last Friday. I saw it at the Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
