I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.

Nice to see tax dollars & tolls & user fees etc put to good work maintaining the roads & infrastructure. Wonder where the money goes as it sure does not go to maintenence

I saw this on NY1 this afternoon. Looked to be quite the situation. Not good.

Days like this, it's hard to live on the upper west side. Traffic is a mess!

heh, and he checked the wall today and said it was fine...some one needs to be fired methinks.

As long as it doesn't block off the west side highway from the GWB in, I'm good.

I was in the city all day and usually go by the GW bridge and west side highway. My parents called to tell me about it, and at night apparently they did close the west side highway but it wasn't terrible, just drove to the east side to take the FDR to the bridge.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
