hey guys and gals,
i know it isn't very common, but I'm taking my chances here, so bare with me.

i'm a 21 y/o guy, not from the USA.
I'll be in NYC for about a week on February, for the unified auditions.
I'm coming alone, and I was wondering if there's anyone nice here who would like to meet up and show me around. :)
I'm a broadway lover at heart (with more than 200 cast recordings in my collection), but never been on the town.
if anyone is available, and would like to have some fun time with a fun-loving, broadway geek, feel free to PM me.
we might see a show together or whatever.

i don't care if you're a guy or a girl, as long as you're fun :)

I'm sorry to say I don't live in the city; I would have definitely loved to have helped you. Don't think you're creepy...I met five of my best friends on this board. And they're not creepy at all haha.

I'm sure he wasn't trying be that way, he came off very legit.
Just the idea of doing it sounded alittle skeevy.
But its not like this is MySpace or LUE2, haha, it's BWW.

How'd you get into musicals? Is there a lot of theatre there? I go to a Yeshiva and I've only been to Israel twice, but I've never met an Israeli who liked musicals.

There is a decent amount of theatres in Israel.
But almost no musicals, or at no decent ones (many pantos, and poor jukebox musicals)

My love for musical theatre started at tweleve, when i got to watch Les Miserables 10th anniversary concert. I fell in love.
Mostly thanks to the internet and amazon.com, I developed my knowledge and CD collection.
I AM quite out of the ordinary in Israel, having such great knowledge and love for this rarely produced genre.

anyone still wants to meet up?
exact dates coming soon, but it'll be at the beginning of february (probably up until the 14th).
