I don't know about you, but there are several threads here where someone is crumbling to bits before our eyes. I'm here to debate whether it's a need for attention, or a desire to mock whatever moral authority is present on the site, or something more.

I mean, we've seen it before. Many have come, ascended, and blown up like firecrackers before our very eyes.

I'm wondering why. What is it about the anonymous Internet that lends itself to self destruction by obnoxia? (I think I've made that word up.) Where is the joy of overturning an apple cart, or tipping a cow? Is it the act that brings pleasure?

Personally, I don't like being the object of scorn. When I comment in that manner, it's generally in defense of someone or something that I hold dear, or fear has been wronged. In this case, it seems senseless...

There's a certain "questioning" thread that just appeared which points out the motivation. In this case, I fear it is simply attention. Pish.

Why are you being so downright Jose'ian in your coy posts? I haven't been reading the boards very closely so I have no idea what is going on, but this thread seems to be lacking much of a subject. It's sort of like listening to a gossip who refuses to name names. "Well, I was thinking about you know who and what they did and you know who is just so... blah blah blah."

Plus, responding to yourself that way just seems silly, doesn't it? I mean, even if it is about you know who.

"obnoxia"

I think you did make it up, but I like it!

CKeaton, you can name me when you talk about me, it's OK.

Well Nam-ster...
In this current environment, I'm hesitating to name names. I can only imagine that there's about 1000 different PM's that are asking to have people removed for name calling. I don't want to get booted over something as silly as this.

Before I arrived there was a Horsey or Equuis or something, there've been others that I can't remember the names of...Now there's a Rodney...

I just wonder if it's all for attention, or if there's some other malady that makes people want to enter into a dinner party, piss on everyone's shoes, then run out of the room screaming.

"enter into a dinner party, piss on everyone's shoes, then run out of the room screaming"

that's a good visual thanks.

I think I'm slightly skitzofrenic (I KNOW that's not spelled right) my Hyde persona had control last night. RIght now Jekyll does.

Are you bi?

AH well. At least this thread resulted in a visit from our long lost Namo.

Bi-polor indicates going from very happy to very sad.

I think y'all are thinking multiple personality. That might be my problem.

"Bi-polor indicates going from very happy to very sad"

That's only one example of bi-polar personality disorder. It can also be going from being quiet and gentle, to extreme fits of anger and violence. Multiple personalities don't acknowledge each other as you have done.

Actually, I meant bi-sexual...you seemed to take offense at being gay in one thread, yet claimed you got hot over one of the male "Apprentice" a$$-lickers, and stated you bought a sweater, necklace, and shoes from some gal in "13 Going On 30" in another (hope they fit)...just curious. Bi, gay, or "containing multitudes"??

Mister Matt, maybe you're right. Too bad I'm gonna miss my shrink appointment this week.

Borstalboy, the only one of the Apprentice people I said I got hot over was Jen C. (the on who got canned last night)

"some gal in.." The "some gal" is Susan Egan because I have a fettish for her.

Does that make me bi?

No, just curious, never heard of a straight guy buying sweaters and necklaces of a glamorous actress before. I guess you are to Susan Egan what David Gest is to Judy Garland. Cheers!
