Web Sites for cheap airfare?

Besides Orbitz, Expedia, and priceline.. does anyone recommend any other sites? maybe one that those price comparisons?

I've used travelzoo in the past, it's good, but usually I leave it up to an agent.

Sidestep.com has a comparison tool. And I've been having better luck buying directly through the airline, specifically Southwest, than any of the "bargain" sites as of late.

No day but today.

I haven't used an agent in years! Can you really get better deals through them?

No, you can't get better deals through a travel agent unless you are mass-booking for a film studio, rock group, etc.

I do it just to put it in someone else's hands.

Try AirfareWatchDog.org--they show you the best deals leaving from your airport to cities all over the world and link you the the sites that provide them. They'll send you e-mails once or twice a week with special deals--if you want them to...

I've used them a lot for quick last minute getaways: Rome for $400 RT, etc...
