I met Joanne Worley when she came here during the Tyne Daly production - when Daly's standby when on vacation, they hired Worley for the week. She was a HOOT. Never got to go on, though, which was too bad.

And I met Sally Struthers once after some business telephone contact - couldn't love the woman more. What a sweet, warm, funny person.

An Acquaintance of mine, Ruth Williamson, adored working with Sally Struthers in CA when they were in Mame together. Whenever I see Ms Struthers in Gilmore Girls - I just can't stop chuckling out loud...

Personally, I think Struthers reached her zenith as a dancer on "The Smothers Brothers Show" in the late 1960s.

By the way, did you know that she was NOT the original choice to play Gloria on "All In The Family"

Are you kidding, ME? Check her out on Still Standing sometime - she plays Bill's mother. I understand she also recurs on Gilmore Girls - she's as hilarious as ever.
