I'm starting my new job today.
Filing and scanning documents for a nurse.
Woo-hoo.
I'd love a mojito, but I'll settle for a pint of Ben & Jerry's.

Tomorrow night, I'm going to another community theatre Awards Ceremony thing.
Don't know what to wear.
(What's that, ckeaton? Long, black, and slinky?)

Well it is summer, though. But long black and slinky always works for me!

I'm thinking something light and flowing, maybe flowery.... but not too bold, of course... about three to five inches above the knee with some strappy little shoes. What are you going to wear?

Ah... the weekend for me? Opening of 'Five Course Love'... then immediatley stripping off the formal wear to make mojitos (as if they were that hip) for the bourgeois at my theatre.

Light and flowing?
I'll check my closet.
I've definitely got the shoes for it.
To be honest, I'd be WAY more comfortable in pants.
But maybe that's just the cellist in me talking.

Happy Mojito weekend,'yall! After being on the go for awhile, I plan to relax and enjoy time at home the next couple of days. Not too exciting I know, but my dogs will appreciate an extra walk or two around the park this weekend. Cheers, everyone!

I'm with Matt_G, I'm afraid...busy tryig to make my last paycheck stretch much further than it has a right to, walking my puppy, who will soon be on Puppy Welfare, and bemoaning the total destruction of my lovelife. Mojitos sound nice.
In fact, maybe I'll start a little early with some Malibu and coke.

Actually, I am working the Olympic Torch Relay tomorrow--I'll be handing out Coca Cola C2 samples along the route.

jrb....I looked for the route on NY1 website...I know Stokes is part of the relay....do you have any other details...any other performers? Who will be bringing the torch into Times Square?

A few Games back I saw the Relay up by the Park, so much fun

hmmm--I'm not sure where a map would be---but I bet there is one posted somewhere. I only know that P. Diddy will be running here in Astoria. lol

I know it runs from Athens Square Park (about 11a), east in Queens, down through Brooklyn, over to Battery Park, over to Staten Island, over to Chelsea Pier, up the West Side, into Harlem, up to Yankee Stadium, back down the East Side, over to the UN, and back into Times Square by 10:45p/11p

Well after my daughters wedding last weekend, and a family reunion tomorrow at my sisters' home ( I am going to need a good stiff drink) Hey DAME here's something to try. Triple strength Margaritas with vanilla Gelato!! The worlds best smothie!
