From NY paper column yesterday:

Animal experts say a 500 pound brown bear has learned how to trick people into letting him into their homes - by knocking @ the door.

"I opened the door & saw him standing there & I did not believe my eyes @ first, said Nevenka Loknar of Gerovo, Croatia. "Than I ran for it as he walked in as if it was the most normal thing in the world

I would have expected this in Jellystone Park but Croatia ?

HAHA

Funny, if I opened the door to a 500 pound brown bear, I would...close the door....

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

Where was Boo Boo Bear ?

This bear is probably a rip on Halloween. He probably gets a bag of crap, sets it on fire by the door rings the bell & runs away. He than sits in the bushes giggling like a schoolgirl

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I don't know what i'd do if that happened. I remember once when my friend was at traveling to uni on a monday and coming back on a friday we were sitting in her living room having a laugh! At 2am she said he had to start the drive down and then she'd be able to get a couple of hours sleep before her lectures started, we opened her back door and stood there was the biggest dog you'd ever seen IT WAS HUGE! Well, we both just stood there looking in disbelief and the dog was looking at us... it could only have lasted about ten seconds but it felt like an hour... we both just screamed and slammed the door and the dog barked and made to come in! We then had to wait til 6am before either could leave because whenever we opened the door the beast was there... we had a right laugh that night!

Jesus Loves You... Everybody else thinks you're an idiot!

Pic-a-nic basket jokes, aside, a similar situation happened in a town not all that far from mine. (We do have a lot of black bears. Every so often, one trashes our bird feeders.) A couple of weeks ago, a woman heard noises in her kitchen, went to investigate and found a mother bear and two cubs ransacking her kitchen. She ran for another part of the house, called the police and they came to deal with it. Unfortunately, one cub charged the police and was shot. The mother and the other cub took off for the woods. But bears are smart and opportunistic. If they can find an advantage, they'll use it, I suppose. Bit like people...
By the way, how are you feeling Beergoggles? Good wishes your way!
