People aaaalways spell my name wrong, or they call me a nickname I hate. They're like, "but I call my brother's best friend's cousin that!" I don't care.

how many nicknames are there for your name em? I can only think of two and I think I know the one you don't like. My moms name is Diana and she HATES it when people call her Diane.

Nah, there are only like two. There are a lot of different spellings.

My first and last name are always spelled AND pronounced wrong. So I have a nickname to make it easier.

Mel, that happens to my mom all the time - her name is Suzanne, but people call her Susan all the time, which she really hates.
Hah, OSG, they did that to my best friend at graduation (both names pronounced wrong).

Uggh, Mel, that must be so irritating. Teachers tend to call me by either my full name (Kathryn) or "Kathy" because they think some dummy has just forgotten the 'h.' Usually this occurs at the beginning of the school year, but still frustrating.

I'm usually called by my last name...My chem teacher decided to nickname me after some guitar guy with the same last name as me...It was odd..
I went through all the nicknames I have had through my life...the count was around 20. I went through a phase were I would only answer to Dove. XD I had Kitty too; I used to pretend I was a cat. I had that on my LL Bean backpack..
My most famous ones with my friends and family is Miss IQ of 2. It all started when I cut my pinky nail on a small manual pencil sharpener...and everytime I would do something by accident (like throw a wet plate across the room like a frisbee, having smash on the door then the floor), my family would always use it...

My older brother calls me Ariar. And really exaggerates the 'ar' sound at the end. It annoys me so much.

This is completely random from the topic that is going on but it goes back to an earlier topic.
I don't remember who it was, but I was talking to someone about the Hollins University signings. I think that person said that they weren't going anymore, but just incase, I found out that it is at 8 PM, and I emailed the person to find out if it was for the public. I'll write in here when I found out if you are still interested.
