I received lots of nice gifts, but the one I love most was from my 5 year old granddaughter. She shopped with the money she'd saved in her piggy bank and selected very thoughtful gifts for everyone on her list. She gave me a pair of memory-foam bedroom slippers that are so comfortable I don't like to take them off.
I didn't get a lot of gifts, but I'm happy with all I received:
- AAA membership for a year.
- Lemongrass Green Tea and Nantucket Sea Clay soap from Summerhouse Soap.
- Orange Ginger shower gel and Peppermint lip balm from Plum Island Soap Company.
- Nightmare Before Christmas cosmetic bag.
- $25 Sephora gift card.
- Victoria's Secret pajama set.
The most thoughtful gift was half of a necklace worn by my grandmother. My mom explained to me that when she had gone to visit my Grammy in the hospital right before she passed, that she told my mom that I should have her half of the necklace. It's a mizpa coin with a quote about loving a person no matter the distance you may be apart. I never knew she wanted me to have it, and it's a nice reminder that she's still with me.

I got a General Elektrik zit-popper, but I'm gonna trade it in for the delux model that goes after blackheads too.
I got an automatic toilet paper dispenser (4 squares at a time), but I am gonna upgrade to the super-duper that gives you the option of 4 settings, 4; 6; 8; or even 10 squares. Can't wait to take a dump.
I also got a brand new proto-type of technology called the Phartz-o-Meter.
