I don't come on here promoting myself all the time, talking about how great I am, and how everyone loves me. Personally, I don't think I'm that pretty, that talented or quite frankly, anything to write home about.

But lots of other people think you're pretty and young, you apparently get told that ALL THE TIME, but you won't tell us why the young part upsets you. You also won't reveal your age on here either, but you make a big deal about not revealing it. That's my problem. If you have something you want to say on the board, then please do. But stop with the loaded statements that are designed to have people begging you to tell us what you really mean.

No, I personally don't want to know the story. Nor do I want to know your age. I lose interest when people play the "don't ask but do" game in knowing what they are talking about. And if so many people on here already know the convoluted story, what is the biggie with sharing it again?

Ever since I was a little girl I would literally be STOPPED on the street and told I looked like "Judy Garland", "Dorothy", "That girl from the Wizard of Oz", etc.

I've also been told I look like Katie Holmes. A LOT.
And someone once told me I looked like a "pale version of Jackie from That 70s Show", although I think the only resemblance there is the curly hair and airhead personality.

When I was in grade school I had an uncanny resemblance to Daria, so I was told. Then again I also heard Christina Ricci around the time of The Addams Family movies so who really knows? I don't think I look like anyone.

I wasn't playing coy, I just didnt think the story was relevant. In all honesty, I never thought anyone would ask and when you did, I wasn't quite sure how else to answer for the pure and simple fact that it IS such a long story. Im sure there are stories to go along with the 'backhanded compliments' corine posted or anything else that was posted in the thread, but you're not getting upset that they didn't explain themselves.

Also never thought my age was relevant either. It's one of those things that if you know, you know and if you don't you don't. There ARE other people in this world who don't like admitting their age.
