The end of last year & the first 3 rd of this year he was great. Lately he looks like he is finished. Today he gets a 7 run lead & cannot hold it. He is making Steve Traschel look good & that is next near to impossible
Can you imagine this guy facing the Red Sox ? Be afraid - be very afraid.
Randolph continues to puzzle. His bull pen is overworked so what does he do. He brings in his long man & uses him for 1 inning. He has done this before. He is winning because he has the players. They are making him look good . He is overrated as a manager

He's getting old. That's all there is to it.
But why start bad, get good & than go bad again. I do not have too much faith in the pitching coach guru & his pitch count
In October, the bullpen will have guys who arms are about to fall off due to overuse

Glavine made me nuts today! I think his time has passed. I have great respect for the man and all that he's accomplished but it's time to make a graceful exit.
However, thrilled the Mets swept the deluded Braves. The bullpen does worry me, thouigh. Maine gives me hope.

I miss Tom! Bad series for us, though. Really bad. Tom is still a Brave to me.

Exactly. It's the sign of an aging pitcher.
The Mets will probably resign him for next year as they want him to get his 300 win @ Shea. Unless he improves, he ain't gonna get it.

Mr Roxy, of all people, should know about the perils of aging.

Thanks, Rose. Unfortunately, I don't think either of us probably have a lot of say in that matter.
