This thread is really funny because I was at a party a couple of weeks ago and I was dared by some friends to queen out. As hard as I tried I wasn't very good at it and was the butt of jokes the whole night...LMAO

Well, I think we now know who started that classic "Dialing the Telephone with a Pencil" thread at Datalounge, now, don't we!

Now where was I...Visiting the Wrightsman Galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and thrilling to the eighteenth-century French furniture inlaid with Sévres porcelain plaques.

Lipsynching to the following recordings: "Hey, Big Spender", "I'm Still Here", "The Music That Makes Me Dance", "If He Walked Into My Life" (though some may disagree, I think Eydie Gormé's verson of the last-mentioned is far Queenier than Angela's. I can't put my finger on exactly WHY...)

Joey, my dear..those Rose Pompadour omolou-mounted Sévres Elephant head vases in those side cases...DEE VINE!!

That's another for the list: lip-synching to BOTH parts of "Bosom Buddies."

I don't want to leave work--because of this thread!

But we're going to see that play about Leonard Bernstein at New York Theatre Workshop. I hope the actor who plays Bernstein is as queeny (and butch) as Lenny was!

Walking across a bridge with traffic roaring past (but no other pedestrians in sight) belting "Nobody Steps on Kafritz" from HENRY, SWEET HENRY.

The film soundtrack of THE WIZ, especially the THRILLING key change at the end of "He's the Wizard" and all of "Brand New Day". I can lose fifteen pounds dancing to those arrangements in my living room.

All of Kay Thompson's numbers in FUNNY FACE. My choreography of "On How To Be Lovely" is exemplary.

When we were at Disneyland yesterday, we passed a little gaggle of queens outside the annual pass location, and one of them (who had just gotten his first annual pass) came out, threw his hands in the air and screamed, "I'm official!"

I thought, "PalJoey would be so proud."
