I love Much Ado About Nothing. It's one of my favorite Shakespeare plays.

Just recently finished Mirror, Mirror and Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister along with The Time-Traveler's Wife in between (all excellent, although I think I enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife the most). I'm rereading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy right now, just because I love it so much. XD Douglas Adams was a comic GENIUS.

Taryn: I've heard if you like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy then you'll Good Omens by Neil Gaiman. Terrific book in my opinion.

Half-heartedly attempting to finish LOTR: The Two Towers... *sigh*

Don't bother, zaney. LOTR is overrated, tedious pap, and if Tolkien is the father of the fantasy genre I like his "children" a whole lot better.

If you want to read a big giant English fantasy book that's actually good, go for Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. Ursula K. LeGuin's Earthsea cycle is great, too.

I bought Jonathan Stange ages ago, but haven't even cracked it open yet.

That book's greatest weakness is also in its length, but it's compelling all the way through. The length problem lies in the fact that it's hard to stay heavily involved in one subplot or the fate of a character when you don't see them for 100 pages.

I'm reading Strange Brains and Genius: The Secret Lives of Eccentric Scientists and Madmen by Clifford A. Pickover. It's really interesting, especially if you're interested in psychology. It discusses possible links between IQ and mental illness-- focuses a lot on OCD... pretty easy read too.

Before that I read America: The Book. SO funny. There are a few theatre references in there!

I'm reading The Devil Wears Prada right now. Cute book.

I'm SUPPOSED to be reading The Once and Future King for English class. I'm totally not into fantasy in the least bit, so I can't get past the the first chapter. Which is not very good considering the class starts next Monday.

I just finished "Playing with Boys" by Alisa Valdez-Rodrigues. I loved this book just as much as her first, "Dirty Girls Social Club."

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

I loved "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell." Best book I read last year.

Right now I am reading Michael Thomas Ford's "Looking For It." I am really liking it, and am almost done.
