I just can't imagine that thesavings the stores are offering are really worth it for me to get up that early or deal with those crowds. If I have to pay a little bit extra for some degree of sanity, well then thats what I'll do!

1) Sleep In - Done
2) Decorate the house - Ongoing
3) Stay far away from mall madness - Ongoing
4) Visit friends for day after Thanksgiving fun - Evening

Well most of it is done online for me too. This year, I've heard from my family and friends an almost universal call for the gift card is on. Which is fine by me.

It's actually 'Buy Nothing Day' here where I am... I don't know about any other place. If I were to go shopping downtown today, I'm pretty sure I would be pamphleted to death!

I got up at 5:30, went to Burger King at 6:30 for Breakfast, was out shopping at the Outlets by 7:30 and just got home.

Haha Heather...yes, I love shopping for Christmas things so it was lovely. Plus, I was done and home by noon. I even got an extra 20% off everywhere I was before 10am. The crowds didn't start arriving until I was leaving so there were no problems.
After that though, my dad, my uncle, my gramma, and myself (my mom was like "no way am I getting involved in this") put all the lights up outside the house. It was a debacle and my mom was smart for not getting into it with us, but it looks cute now.

I despise shopping, especially if it means waking up early. I've just been hanging out with visiting relatives.
Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do...

I never really wound up doing anything I was supposed to do.. hahaha Except for the whole breakfast with my two best friends part. That was the only thing on yesterdays itinerary that actually happened. lol
