question: has tivo worked out the bugs with respect to the odd timing of shows today (i.e. starting at 8:59 p.m. and ending at 10:01) ?

do you ever record a show and not get the whole thing?

i remember a few years ago that many people missed the last 10 minutes of the series finale of friends because it ran from 8 p.m. to 9:10.

What they do now is send you a message a few days before letting you know that the networks are "Supersizing" their programs and giving you the option of adding minutes.

My favorite feature is the Home Network option. Love it.

but what about the non-supersized shows. if you pay attention, shows no longer start at 8/8:30/9/10, etc. they start at 8:32/9:01/9:59, etc.

i'm new to tivo so i don't know any of it's features since we got it for free and don't know if we're keeping it past the initial year that it is already paid for.

what's "home network" ?

I love how everyone edits their season pass after a few weeks of watching a show!
