Caught this one over the weekend on a DVD double bill with WHO SLEW AUNTIE ROO? I love it when they mix horror with musical numbers! Debbie Reynolds and Shelley Winters have a very Baby Jane relationship when they flee their hometown in shame to move to Hollywood to open a tap dancing school for children! Good, old-fashioned, high camp fun....
I'll never hear "Goody, Goody" the same way again.
I enjoy this movie, too. I think Debbie looks quite good in it.

Fun movie - Debbie and Shelley HATED one another - one had too much training and the other had none - however, it works great for the film!

those midnite movie double feature dvds are awesome!
You've got to find the one with Wild In The Streets starring Shelley also.
trust me, you won't be sorry.
I remember T.V. Guide's capsule description for this movie when it was first aired on T.V.:
WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH HELEN? She has a bad case of the Baby Janes.
Always made me laugh.
