Yes, it's SO well done! Mara wilson is absolutely adorable, and I just think it's more "real" and accessible than the original. Funny how Mara Wilson's career ended as soon as she lost her lisp...

(you're all going to think that I'm either joking or lying, but I swear this is my real, favorite Christmas movie)
"Young Frankenstein"
The first time I saw it, I was about 9, and my family was putting up Christmas lights. (Or taking them down... Don't remember. But I do remember vaccuuming pine needles.)
Anyway, I always associate it with Christmas.
Strangely, so does my father, but he doesn't know why.
He just bought the DVD yesterday, because it seemed like a "good Christmas movie" to him.
Yes, I'm strange, but at least I have proof that it's genetic.

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

I get a happy, fuzzy feeling in my tummy when I watch "It's a Wonderful Life," AND I also LOVE The Muppets Christmas special... there's the one with John Denver, and then there's the one at Fozzie's Mom's house... oh, they're both sooo good!

I heart Young Frankenstein. "Ohhh, sweet mystery of life..."
My famous Christmas movie is "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott.

Miracle on 34th Street and The Grinch (original) are my top two favorites. I have to watch them when they're actually on, not on tape or on DVD. I need commercials and all, just like when I was a kid or it's just not the same to me.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2. "unleash the girly"

such a wonderful film that echoes the true meaning of christmas
ie...the best way to show your family you care is to make a meal out of them
(and i am aware it isnt a film...yet!)

Question: Do you spell Claus(e) with an 'e' at the end or not.

Clause with an "e" is Clause as in a contract
Claus without an "e" is as in Santa Claus

It's not necessarily a Christmas movie, but IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE is a must for me every December. I am such a sucker for that film...

Definately, a Christmas Carol with George C. Scott. But I watch it no matter who is in it. I will also see it with Kelsey Grammer. The other one I see is that little boy who wanted the air rifle. (Red Rider) It is on constantly.

Although I tend to be put off by the holiday season (the fact that it seems to start earlier every year really irks me to no end!) I do have a bunch of holiday movies that I just LOVE! Absolutely LOVE A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation...I've also gotta add Nightmare Before Christmas (would that be a Christmas or Halloween movie?!?) Mixed Nuts (good lord, Liev Schreiber makes an UGLY woman!!!) and The Christmas Toy (a Muppet movie that I loved as a kid, about Rugby, a stuffed Tiger, who worries that he'll be replaced at Christmas...or something like that).
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

"Scrooge" the musical with Albert Finney
I LOVE this movie.
And, just to clarify, the movie with Bill Murray is "Scrooged", and is VERY funny.
