What's with this wallpaper?

Anyone else regularly notice it all over movies and television shows? I feel like it has become the shorthand set visual for telegraphing both 60s mod and Williamsburg-type hipster. I used to like it, but am a little tired of it already.

It's all over the place with the mid-century modern revival creeping forward to the 60s.
If harvest gold or avocado appliances come back I'm going to poke out my eyes.
