Oliver!

I was the Knife Grinder during Who Will Buy? and one of Fagin's Students. It was my first High School Musical. But Some of the Seniors really ruined it for me. I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.

We do a play in the fall, and ours was Neil Simon's Fools. I was Lenya Zubritsky (aka my first lead since 8th grade!) :)

our school got someone from Shakspeare & Co to come direct Midsummer! (i was Titania-- SO funnn) my costume/tiara was FABULOUS!

My school is doing Madwoman of Chaillot for the Winter Production, as well as Pageant, the drag queen beauty pageant musical. I'm Miss Bible Belt.

hahah we do spend a lot of money on our shows...like a ridiculous amount...but we make it all back ourselves. (through ticket sales) Maybe 20,000? But our school is popular and widely known for theatre...and we do damn good shows

We did a little known show called "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood." it's a farcical comedy, drop dead hilarious. I played the EVIL Prince John. It was fun!

We did Les Miz School Edition two weeks ago! I'll have pics soon. (I don't have enough patience with Photobucket, LOL) Most of our leads were excelent, and some were just okay. But overall, it was pretty good.

my school put on a Midsummer Night's Dream this fall in our Black Box theatre. it was really good.

Dramatothemax - I am really impressed w/ the photos you posted. is that a hs or a college performance? the props, costumes, even the lighting look really professional.

we're a performing arts high school...or magnet school...you have to audition to get in and all. Its an amazing school, i have more pictures from past shows. This year we did Once on This Island and last year we also did Joseph and Beauty and the Beast...we're currently working on thoroughly modern millie!

We did Les Mis 3 years ago. I was in 8th grade, but it was INCREDIBLE. ugh. beautiful.


There arent any pics from Beauty and the beast yet...

but my teachers directed the national thespian cast of Ragtime...i have pictures from that

Well, we're a junior high school that only does plays...so we did a little montage of Halloween scenes. LMAO. That's nothing compared to Oliver!, Jekyll and Hyde, etc.

They did The Chronicles of Jane which was odd. I wasn't in it. We're doing The Wizard of Oz for the spring.
