^^I'd have to do the same, Diva. I hear Jaily's free^^
Then I'd cry because I wouldn't be able to play soccer (I'm a goalkeeper), or the clarinet, or any other wind instrument...
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

"eat with my feet"
A long time ago, I was watching something on Discovery Health or TLC. A girl was actually living with no arms. She used her feet/toes to do EVERYTHING.
She drove (with her feet), she ate (with her feet), she put in contacts (with her feet.) It was amazing!

Just today I was on the subway and saw a man with no arms. I started laughing because I was thinking of this thread. The man looked at me oddly, so I asked him if he ever logged in at BWW. He became very sarcastic and told me he didn't own a computer because he had lost his arms. (I was going to ask if he's ever found them but thought better of it.)
My reasoning is that if you can get through a turnstile with no arms, you should be able to use a computer.

Posted: 5/20/07 at 4:48pmI already said I wouldn't be able to play soccer. In my case that was because I'm a goalkeeper, so I'd need arms. But in general, it's pretty damn near impossible to play soccer without arms, it's all about balance.

Why is it I hear the Klondike Bar theme when I read the thread title?
Oh God, I just started laughing hysterically.
Personally, the worst thing about it would be that instead of feeling people up you'd just have to... nuzzle them.

I would get bionic arms. I'm a problem-solver like that.
Or, if you can't afford bionic arms, I guess you could...strap a midget to your back or something. Short arms, but not as bad for the back.

So, Glinda the Good joined a few days ago, and bumped this thread with their own snarky Bull****?
Is ANYONE actually keeping track of this crap, or should we just chalk it all up to nonsense at this point and call it a day?
All the best intentions . . .

CHORUS:
Come to the station, Jump from the train
March at the double, down lover's lane
Then in the glen where the roses en-twine
Lay down your arms (Lay down your arms)
Lay down your arms and surrender to mine...
Probably the first song I ever remember as a child (Anne Shelton version) primarily because of the lyric. The mental image of her asking him, to lay down his arms and surrender, used to have me asking my mother how this could be achieved: - )

I don't know why - this thread made me think of Cat Stevens -
Oh, I’m bein’ followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow
Leapin and hoppin’ on a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow
And if I ever lose my hands, lose my plough, lose my land,
Oh if I ever lose my hands, oh if.... I won’t have to work no more.
