The special edition boxes will feature gold medal winners Nastia Liukin and Bryan Clay.
Yep. No Michael Phelps.
I do remember him saying after one of his wins that he really wanted to be on the Wheaties box, and thinking "Of course you'll be on the Wheaties box, d'uh!" I guess winning 8 gold medals in one Olympics is just not enough.

Posted: 8/29/08 at 12:49pmI had heard that Kelloggs had an exclusive deal in place with the U.S. Swim Team, so Phelps (or any other swimmer) copuld not be on the Wheaties box.
