When people block private messages

Why would someone want to block someone's PM? I didn't even know you could, let alone block them.

I only block 2 people who felt it necessary to rip me in every post. Their names will remain private

if some in so "mature" as to block PMs from a user than i don't thin maturity is an issue here.

What I meant was that I feel what this person did by blocking me was immature. And simply fowarding a message via someone else would just be stooping to their level.

Yenta - since it's possible to block all private messages, are you sure it's just you that's blocked?

Why would blocking pm's be immature or hurtful? Some people block them the same way they block spam or telemarketers who call them. Why take it personally? Some people just don't have the time or desire to chat privately.
