When to go to NY this fall? (help)

Ok ya'll I need your help.

I am going out to NY this fall... mainly to see A Chorus Line.

I may be able to stay with my friend in her PACE dorms... but maybe not for the full week.. so I am looking for a hotel in the Fi-Di. Something reasonable? is tehre such a thing?

I have to plan my trip soon seeing that ACL tix go on sale this Sunday. I was planning either in October or Early November.

Tix for ACL are selling quick, and I may end up seeing the show in left or right orchestra if i go in Oct.. but theres a chance I could see it Center if I go Early November.

My general question is, is it overall cheaper to go to NY sometime in October- or early November. or are they about the same... hotel and air fare wise.

Seeing ACL center orchestra isnt a BIG deal, but I would really love it.

I also need to plan my airfare and hotel stay around the night I get acl tix.

any answers, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

you can get air and hotel rates for any date

as I recall you live north of me...if you're flying out of Palm Springs it'll be more, out of Ontario much less
