Is the closest place to buy the weekly combo pass if I were using the Green Line Government Center? Or can I go someplace closer?

You probably could have called the BU Student Information Ctr. and you would have gotten an immediate response. 
In any case, if you're still looking, BU Student Center used to carry those passes. Call them up.
